Do You March To Your Own Drum?

My family and I have always marched to the beat of a different drum.

In fact, I always used to say by our names we sound like a bunch of beatniks.

Zale, Burl, Laurel, Heath.

But by appearances, we are regular, rule-following, law-abiding, seemingly conformed people.

My mother grew up in a family that broke all societal norms.
They were beyond Mavericks in their day.
More on that later, but for now let me just say that I am writing my memoirs in an effort to understand how I got where I am and why I have had so many challenges in feeling (self) acceptance.

I think the story will present the answers, especially when I consider I’ve never allowed myself to be my true authentic self. I have made my entire life about making other people feel OK about who they are but not ever thinking that people would be OK with who I am.

Or something like that, can anyone relate? Our story can help us see patterns and familial programming that needs to be re-framed.

This is why Human Design has been so helpful for me, even though I have grown up with numerology and astrology as tools to understand myself, Human Design has been the most helpful tool.

Learning my aura type and my unique design is a game-changer.

Do you know your aura type? Here is where I go to find the information. You must have your birth time, let me know if you don’t have that info and I have an option to help you to access it.
